Python, VB.NET and the Cloud Computing Era (Part 1):
As many people who are involved in the computer world cloud computing is a new term that has been widely discussed in many places around the world. The cloud computing era is the current time we are living where diverse kind of software, web applications and in-house tools can be installed in severs that are located in the cloud (the internet) and people can operate them from everywhere with all the authentication policies and security rules. The cloud computing is just making a good effort in order you don’t have to worry about hardware and all the complications of having a in-house system installed with all the controls and privileges you should establish. But I am just wondering if we don’t have the need to invest in hardware just paying the required fee for installing our applications in the cloud. What about developing tools to develop those programs that will be installed in the cloud? I know you can say that probably the most important is to think in those applications you can integrally move to the cloud but also you should consider the future software you will have to develop in this way.
Cloud computing requires diverse elements to be successful and one of them is the scalability and availability of all the applications installed on it. You can use ASP.NET and Python as to important programming language and developing tools so that you can have robust software and applications that can be installed and administrated remotely. Cloud computing is getting a wide ground in many places around the world and has been discussed for many people but the main point of discussion today is all related to the term cloud computing. I think that the idea is pretty good and the concept should be more mature in the near future. Despite of that it will come very soon and we have to think in big because cloud alternative should be accessed very fast by users and people who are working on them should administer all applications very easy so that you can guarantee the availability users require. In the specific case of VB.NET you will be able to develop web based applications in the Framework.NET and use all the available features and facilities Microsoft is providing to all its developing tools. VB.NET could make a wonderful task in the forthcoming years to develop stable applications as a cloud computer alternative.
On the other hand, the case of Python is very important because with Python you will have a higher level of compatibility developing software that are very fast and provide you all the features needed to have all things under control. In other words, Python is a good tool that can serve a lot as a basic cloud computing element. Moreover, the cloud (as a hardware solution) will need fast and robust software that can run and operate everywhere without frustrating problems that often occur in all kind of software implementation.
